Travis Sager grew up mostly in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from Union College in 1995, he has been a pastor and conference departmental director in the Seventh-day Adventist Church for 23 years. Earning his PhD in Expository Preaching in 2007, Travis believes that effective communication of the Word of God is paramount in the life of the church. The highlight of his career was baptizing his father while pastoring the Brazosport SDA Church in Texas. He is currently senior pastor at the Hinsdale SDA Church in Illinois. Golf, a game he has played since his junior year at Sunnydale Academy, is one of his many hobbies. He is married to Renee and they have one son, Brady.
