As a Pathfinder starting in the Florida Conference, I found a great interest in drill and very quickly found myself on a Drill Team. After moving to the Northern New England conference, I had the opportunity to become a Drill captain and after heading to college at Atlantic Union College, continued working with drill in the Southern New England Conference.
At the first International Camporee at Camp Hale in 1985, I found I spent a lot of time watching the drill teams at the various clubs and really wanted to do more with drill, so when the opportunity presented itself for me to become part of the team of those who organized the competitions I jumped at the opportunity.
I have had the privilege of working with some of the best judges over the last 20 years and look forward to another great Drill Team and Drum Corps competition in 2019.
