Arriving at the Camporee & Leaving for Home
When can we arrive at the Camporee?
There are two arrival or load-in-day options:
- Monday, August 12 (8:00 am until midnight)
- Tuesday, August 13 (8:00 am until 7:30 pm) Gates close at 7:30 pm
Campgrounds do not open before Monday, August 12, 8:00am
When do activities begin?
- All on-site & off-site activities start at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 13, 2019
- Opening night for the Main Stage is Tuesday night, August 13, 2019, 7:30 pm
When can we leave for home?
You can leave at 11:00 pm Saturday night, August 17, 2019, when the gates are open to exit.
- Some drivers sleep Saturday during the day and drive out about midnight Saturday night. Their riders sleep through the night on the way home.
- Only Clubs leaving Saturday night after the evening program may bring their buses and vans into their campsites at 7:30pm, thru the South Gate only. The South Gate will close again at 9:00pm. At 11:00pm, all gates will be opened to anyone wanting to exit the Camporee grounds.
- Many other clubs stay camping Saturday night and enjoy the Saturday night special sales in Building A. These special sales include Camporee hats, shirts, pins, etc.
- Most clubs plan to leave any time before 12 noon Sunday, August 18, 2019.
- The campgrounds must be vacated by 2:00pm Sunday, August 18, 2019.

The Chosen International Pathfinder Camporee requires the movement of thousands of people throughout the day. We provide on-site and off-site shuttles to get you where you need to be in a timely manner.

EAA Museum
Spend as much time and as often as you want in this one-of-a-kind aviation museum. Located at the site of the world's largest aviation event (EAA AirVenture) the Museum is one of the most extensive aviation attractions in the world, a year-round destination for the entire family. Enjoy the flight simulator or cool off and relax in the amphitheater while you enjoy special programming planned just for you. You can also stop by and watch one of many videos.
No backpacks are allowed in the EAA museum.

Free to all age groups with a CIC wristband, accompanied by an adult staff member.

Food Concessions
Many different types of ready-to-eat food can be purchased at the Food Concession stands. If you're looking for a quick meal and don't want to make it yourself this is the place for you.

Information Booths
If you need directions or have questions about anything taking place at the Camporee, stop by one of several Information Booths for help. Information Ambassadors in bright green vests are also available to assist you.
Be sure to stop by and pick up your Camporee Map and the Daily Newspapers. Quantities are limited.

Local Restaurants
There are many local restaurants within a short driving distance of the Camporee. Please remember to be courteous and kind, keeping in mind there are thousands of us and we can easily fill up restaurants. Calling ahead may be a good idea if you have a group of 8 or more.

Lost & Found
Many of the items lost at the Camporee find their way to the Lost & Found building. Please be prepared to give a detailed description of your lost item.
Located across from the Registration & Ticket building.

Any items not claimed by Sunday noon will be taken to the Good Will store. Valuables such as cell phones, cameras, wallets, keys, etc. will be taken back to the Center for Youth Evangelism (CYE) at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. Medical/First Aid
The Medical/First Aid building will be staffed with doctors and nurses 24/7 as well as Paramedic/EMT teams that will be on golf carts roaming the grounds throughout the day.
The Medical/First Aid building is located at the corner of Schaick Ave. and 40th.

Newspaper
Each day during Camporee a daily newspaper is printed and handed out at the Youth Director's meetings early each morning. Make sure to ask your Youth Director or Conference Pathfinder Director to bring copies back for your conference each day. More copies are available at the Information booths located throughout the Camporee. Only a certain number of newspapers are printed each day.
In addition to physical copies of the newspaper, PDF copies are posted on the website once the Camporee is over, so anyone can download and enjoy reading them later.

Special Needs
The Chosen Camporee is dedicated to providing access and services to visitors with special needs. Access is available to all Pathfinder venues, such as the Hanger area, activities, evening programs, and the EAA AirVenture Museum. There are some areas of the grounds that are grass and gravel covered, which may be more difficult for items such as scooters and wheelchairs to travel.

Post Office
The Camporee Post Office will send and receive letter mail. You may receive United States Postal Service (USPS) packages only here, but you may not send packages from this location. If you need to send a USPS package, please take it to a local Post Office in Oshkosh. All postal mail and packages will be delivered to your Conference headquarters.
No United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEX packages can be sent or received at the Post Office. See more information under UPS & FedEX shipping.

Anyone using liquid and compressed fuels at the Camporee must read and comply with the Camporee guidelines for storing and handling these materials.

Red Barn Food Store
Is an on-site building that stocks single items such as ice, bread, milk, eggs, juice, cereal, vegetarian canned food and more. You can also pick up your bulk pre-ordered food items (courtesy Kellogg Company).

RV - Towable/Motorized Camper Pumping
Once you arrive at the Camporee, we ask you not to move your RV until the end of Camporee when you depart. Pit Stop Portables will pump your RV waste and water for a fee.

If you run out of supplies while you're at the International Pathfinder Camporee, local stores are available with camping and food supplies. You can also pre-order from certain local stores and pick your order up when you arrive in Oshkosh.

Shipping to Camporee
You can ship packages, pallets, and supplies to the Camporee during set-up week and during the Camporee, August 5-16.
If you ship any packages, pallets, or supplies before August 5, they will be denied and not accepted.
