Alvina has attended each International Camporee since Camp Hale in 1985, some as a volunteer with a club, others as a Camporee volunteer. Her passion is to do what she can to help the young people have a good experience; for them to see and experience Christ in these events. Never having been a Pathfinder herself, she has worked behind the scenes as her husband, Jim, led out in Pathfinders in Minnesota. Alvina, along with her husband, also work with Outdoor School and the Children's departments in Sabbath School, both at their home church and Minnesota Campmeeting. She also was area coordinator for Adventurers for several years and did statewide VBS workshops back in the day! She has a passion to introduce children to Jesus!
