1999 - Discover the Power
History
This 1999 International Camporee was held at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) property located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Camporee Director was Ron Whitehead who also served as Executive Director of the Center for Youth Evanglism located within the Seminary at Andrews University. He also served as the NAD Associate Youth Director and the Lake Union Conferance Youth Director. Over 21,000 Pathfinders were in attendance from 53 countries. God showed His protection to every camporee participant by splitting a major storm to go around the campground. Over 150 people were baptized. The Camporee sold out March 1, six months before the Camporee.
